ACA and EPC Media Group announce new media partnership

ACA is delighted to announce a new non-exclusive media partnership with EPC Media Group (EPC). EPC produces three industry leading publications; Highway Engineering Australia, Construction Engineering Australia and Waste & Water Management Australia.
 
This partnership will provide substantial benefits to members, including unlimited digital access to EPC’s publications and additional access to print publications at various ACA events. The three publications reach more than 50,000 readers, exposing members to new markets and providing access to educational resources.

C & P Conference- Nick Xenophon

The Australasian Corrosion Association was delighted to welcome Senator Nick Xenophon to open Corrosion & Prevention 2015 - the ACA’s Annual Conference on Monday 16 November 2015 in Adelaide.

Nick is a champion of Australian Industry and supporter of local jobs.  During his presentation, Nick expressed interest in the areas of education, training, compliance and Australian Standards.  He also made a commitment to support the ACA to raise the profile of corrosion and its mitigation, as well as working to place corrosion control on the national agenda.

Corrosion can cause costly and dangerous damage to pipelines, bridges, buildings, water and wastewater systems and other major infrastructure. 

The annual cost of corrosion worldwide is estimated to be 3% of the world’s GDP.
