The Australasian Corrosion Association’s publication Corrosion & Materials is released 6 times per year and has a combined national and international distribution of 2,500 and a readership of 7,000. Each issue features a range of news, information, articles, profiles and peer reviewed technical papers.

Submitting Papers and other Technical Content
Corrosion & Materials publishes original, previously unpublished papers under the categories "Research" and "Professional Practice". All papers are peer reviewed by at least two anonymous referees prior to publication and qualify for inclusion in the list which an author and his or her institution can submit for the ARC “Excellence in Research Australia” list of recognised research publications. Please refer to the Author Guidelines before you submit a paper to Wesley Fawaz at wesley.fawaz@corrosion.com.au.
ACA also welcomes short articles (technical notes, practical pieces, project profiles, etc) between 500 – 1,500 words with high resolution photos for editorial review. Please refer to the Article Guidelines before you submit an article to Wesley Fawaz at wesley.fawaz@corrosion.com.au
Best Practice/Project Paper Award
The Best Practice/Project Paper Award is a $1,000 cash award for the best paper dealing with a project or best practice related to corrosion prevention or its mitigation. The award will be made annually for submissions to Corrosion & Materials made by 31st August each year and subject to approval for publication by the C&M Editorial Committee.
Best Paper by an Early Researcher Award
The Best Paper by an Early Researcher Award has been instituted for the best technical paper submitted for publication in Corrosion & Materials during the year ending June 30th preceding each Annual Conference of the ACA, by an Australasian based author who has not attained the age of 30 years at the date of submission of the paper for publication. The award consists of free registration for the annual conference of the ACA and a cash amount of $1,000 as a contribution to the expenses of attendance at the conference.
