CORROSION TECHNICIAN
The roles involves participating in corrosion assessment of underground steel structures, pipe to soil potential surveys, conducting cathodic protection faults survey, corrosion surveys, and coating defect surveys. Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent recognition in Cathodic Protection/Corrosion Systems, experience in the use of computers and data loggers, Microsoft Office knowledge in particular Excel and Word, and experience with using Corrosion software preferred.

CORROSION TRAINEE
As a trainee in a growing specialist discipline you will be provided with both classroom industry training and field based mentoring. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate qualities of self starting, dedication to a course of action and strong computer based skills.

We are an expanding supplier of coatings and sealants to the construction market. Established over 20 years ago, we have developed to occupy a unique position as an Australian owned manufacturer/supplier of fire rated sealants, floor finishes etc. Our company, located in suburban Melbourne, Victoria is now seeking a "dedicated" sales professional to join our team with the prospect of advancing to Product Manager in the relatively short term.

Position
Reporting to the Managing Director you will initially be responsible for the growth of our industrial floor coatings business. This will involve maintenance of our existing contractor client base and generating new business opportunities at all levels from specifier to site management. You will visit architects, building developers, construction companies, contractors and distributors etc. and be required to provide
technical presentations in a comprehensive but "easily understood" manner. Some interstate travel may be required.

Candidate
A proven sales history with a “hands‐on” attitude and approach is important. Ideally you will have at least 3 years experience selling to the construction market or have previous extensive sales experience in industrial coatings or a similar technical field. You will be well presented, self motivated and have excellent communication skills.
