Corrosion & Prevention 2024 will feature a full program of peer-reviewed papers and case studies, technical forums, research symposium, networking and more. The conference will be a platform for industry field practitioners who combat corrosion on a daily basis and researchers working in corrosion-related fields to share and exchange ideas.

Abstract submissions close: 15 April 2024

The call for abstracts is now open for technical papers and case studies on all subjects related to corrosion and its control, asset management, and case studies, etc. We welcome papers from university, government, private enterprises, asset owners, consultants, contractors and manufacturers to share the latest developments and information in our industry.

Due to popular demand, and in addition to our regular papers, this year we are excited to add a new paper submission template that will aid those submitting reports on case studies. Case studies, such as reports on field trials and the use of new and/or novel technologies for corrosion prevention and protection are an important part of knowledge exchange for the corrosion industry. All papers (technical/research papers and case studies) will be subject to the standard paper review process. A technical paper template and case study template will be released in late February.

The ACA dedicated conference software is still in development, and we will be once again using the PaperTrail software from our sister association AMPP for the duration of the abstract and paper submission process. As in 2023, authors and co-authors will need to create an AMPP login to gain access to the system for paper and abstract submissions, reviews and final uploads. It is important to note that we have signed an agreement with AMPP that excludes them from accessing our authors’ details and any access to submissions made directly to the ACA conference portal in AMPP’s PaperTrail. The website will feature an AMPP logo as it is their proprietary software that we are subscribed to. We are very grateful to AMPP for offering us this service and grateful to our members and authors for their patience whilst we make the transition to our own ACA software.
