The Australasian Corrosion Association New South Wales Branch has been a steady and valuable contributor to the industry, demonstrating strong engagement through its quiet yet impactful approach to member connection. Led by President Adam Hockey and Vice President Felicity Smith, the branch has focused on fostering industry collaboration through initiatives such as lunch-and-learn sessions and the introduction of the “Friends of the Committee” program to encourage future committee participation.

The 2026 branch calendar will deliver a strong technical and professional development program, including events covering corrosion protection, quality assurance, microbiologically influenced corrosion, and Young Corrosion Group engagement. Supported by three branch partners in 2026, the New South Wales Branch continues to look forward to creating insightful, meaningful events that strengthen industry knowledge and community connection.
