ACA Training Course Schedule

If you are an ACA member you may register for any training course at the member rate. If you are not a member the ACA, you may either register at the non-member rate or sign up to become a member sign up to become an ACA member here.

If you are an AMPP member you may register for AMPP training courses at the Member rate.

If you are a GAA member, you may register for any HDG training course at the Member rate.

If you are an ACRA member, you may register for any ACRA training course at the Member rate.

If you have not received invoice or confirmation email, please reach out to our training team to follow up training@corrosion.com.au

If you have registered for a members ticket and your membership can no be verified your ticket will default to a non-member ticket.

If you have proof of your membership status please email training@corrosion.com.au or reply to the invoice email.

We don’t provide quotes for public training courses as there are many factors that influence pricing and registration. All course prices are on the training course listings. Prices are structured as follows based of the timing of registration, local and membership of the individual:

Early ticket – registration finalised more than 30days prior to the course start date.

Normal ticket – registration finalised within 30days of the course start date. All tickets close one week prior to the course starting.

Member ticket – secured with confirmation of membership of the ACA or course affiliate association see course FAQs for each course accepted membership.

Non-Member ticket – Anyone not a member.

Australian courses with Australian students – All locally based courses taken by Australians incur Australian 10% GST.

Courses with international students – All courses taken by international students DO NOT incur Australian GST. This will be removed after registration or refunded if paid by credit card.

We diligently check every registration for membership status, location and meeting prerequisite requirements before we finalise and issue the invoice. This invoice can be used as quote as we do not issue public course quotes.

We no longer take deposit or installment payments. To secure your position on any course, you must make full payment. If you have already made a payment please email our Training team training@corrosion.com.au with proof of payment.

As soon as you know you will not be able to attend a course you have confirmed registration for, you must notify the ACA in writing training@corrosion.com.au. Students who do not notify the ACA in writing forfeit their payment and position on the course. No, you will not need to create an AMPP account on your own. Your account will be created based on your registration details.

If you have an existing AMPP ID please provide this detail at registration or email it to training@corrosion.com.au so your resulting certification is linked to you.

It will take anywhere up to a month after completion of the course and satisfaction of all the requirements.

If you have completed an AMPP course please check your My Certification Portal – AMPP

If you have completed an ACA or partnered course you will be emailed to the email you have registered with.

No, the manual and the course contents are copywrite materials. Students are not licenced to reproduce course materials. Students receive access to a digital copy when full payment is confirmed.

Please check your confirmation email for the course materials click here link and follow this to add the event to your calendar. Click DONE to go through the COURSE MATERIALS tab where you can view the files.

When you attend the course in person you will be given a printed copy. If you’re doing an online course, you will be sent a printed copy ahead of the course.

All courses have specific syllabus that is adhered to, but varying class size and experience levels will mean there’s likely to be some variance in timings.  Quite often the last day of the course will finish earlier than the previous day/s.

Please speak to your lecturer at the course if you have any commitments that require you to leave by a specific time.

We no longer offer the CIP1 course as “Blended” due to decreased student success rates. The CIP1 course must be completed as an in-person course.

All parking is subject to local signage and restrictions. There may be available public or private venue parking in the area. You must arrange any transport and parking yourself; this is not included in the training package.

All courses run by The Australasian Corrosion Association are taught in English. All training materials are in English and all students are expected to be fluent both in written and spoken English.

The Australasian Corrosion Association Inc. (ACA) is a nonpolitical, not-for-profit, membership Association which disseminates information on corrosion and its prevention or control, by providing training, seminars, conferences, publications and other activities. The ACA is the Australasian licensee of AMPP courses. The ACA also partners with other organisations to deliver training courses in corrosion and prevention. GAA, Galvanizers Association of Australia comprises many of the leading galvanizing companies throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. GAA is an industry Association established in 1963 to represent galvanizing companies and to provide technical consulting services on a not-for-profit basis.

The Association’s objectives are to provide the highest standards in design and quality of galvanized products and to assist consumers achieve the economics inherent in the correct design and application of galvanized products.

The ACA and GAA have partnered on the HDG course to provide training to the Galvanising, Corrosion and Prevention Industry.
