The ACA’s Illness

Cancellation Policy
The ACA acknowledges that occasionally a cancellation of attendance is an inevitable occurrence. However, due to the costly nature of events, administration, overall maintenance, and the management of the ACA, full refunds are in most cases financially and operationally impractical. The first preference is to transfer the participant to another similar course. Refunds will only occur in the most limited of circumstances. An administration fee will generally apply. To apply for a transfer or refund due to illness, the participant must provide a doctor’s certificate stating they are not fit to participate in course activities.

Guide to Administrative and Transfer Fees
The ACA charges for each administrative activity. Each administration function will cost a minimum of $500.00AUD.
All refunds will be returned to the original credit card or account supplied. There are no exceptions offered regarding this policy. Refunds will be made in a singular payment and cannot be split across credit cards or accounts.

The Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course in the event of unforeseen circumstances or insufficient student numbers. If a course is cancelled by the ACA participants students will be offered a place on the next available course of their choice if there is availability or may request a full refund at no additional cost. Refund of fees is the full extent of ACA’s liability in these circumstances.
