Event Summary

Join us for an engaging evening of technical insight and hands-on experience in Darwin! This will spotlight the intersection of welding technology and corrosion science, featuring a live welding simulator and a cutting-edge presentation on corrosion performance of hardfacing alloys.

At this joint event by Weld Australia and the Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA), we will have a welding simulator on-site, giving attendees a rare opportunity to test their skills and explore the latest in welding training technology. We’re also proud to host Dr. Cedric Tan who will present his research on Corrosion Resistance of Hardfacing Alloys, offering valuable insights into materials performance in demanding environments.

This event is also a great opportunity to connect with the Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) and learn how you can be part of the foundation of the NT Branch.

Whether you’re an engineer, technician, researcher, or industry stakeholder, this event offers something for everyone. Come for the knowledge, stay for the networking and don’t miss your chance to try the welding simulator!
