The Australasian Corrosion Association has placed a focus on new benefits for Membership packages in the 2024, and a price increase effective from the 1st of February 2024.
The new membership packages will encourage more Young Corrosion Group’ members to be signed up to corporate memberships at no additional cost, and the long-awaited return of the Corrosion & Materials Journal. This is in addition to improved member services launched in 2023, such as the new ACA website in September 2023.
The 2024 ACA Membership package follows the continuing reinvigoration of the organisation and the mission to keep disseminating corrosion management information, as well as attracting more corrosion enthusiasts to the community, especially young corrosion practitioners or those interested in forging a career in the corrosion sector.
The Corrosion & Materials (C&M) Journal is a quarterly digital magazine compiling the best of corrosion research, industry technologies and events and Australia and New Zealand. Members will have access to an exclusive online version of the publication, and the opportunity to submit technical and newsworthy content, advertise, or be featured, depending on the type of Membership.

Another major addition to the improved 2024 Membership package is the additional Young Corrosion Group (YCG) delegates included in corporate registrations. Diamond Members will be able to add unlimited YCG Delegates to their Membership, followed by Platinum (10), Gold (5), Silver (3), and Bronze (2). The YCG is the youth component of the ACA, made up of Members under the age of 35. The YCG enables younger corrosion practitioners to network, identify career pathways, hold events, develop their skill sets, and more. Additional YCG Delegates will hold the same benefits as individual Members. Addressing the next generation of corrosion practitioners was a priority in member surveys conducted in 2023.

The 2024 Membership package reflects the cost of business and CPI increases since the last major membership fee increases prior to 2019.
The current Membership features will remain on the new package including discounted prices for Training, Events, and Conference; access to exclusive resources (available through requests to the ACA), free advertising on ACA promotional materials, access to Branches and technical groups, and more.
