Payment Terms
Full payment is required no later than one week before the scheduled interview. If no payment is made, the interview will not proceed.
Mode of payment – There are two available payment methods:
▪ Online Card payment
▪ Bank Account transfer
Appeal Process
Candidates have the right to appeal decisions made during the certification process.
Appeals must be submitted in writing within 30 days or 4 weeks from the date when the decision is received.

The request for an appeal will incur a relevant fee of $350.00
If the outcome is in your favour, the fee will be refunded. Please see the refund policy for further information.
Certification Validity
The certification is valid for two years from the date of issue.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Candidates must record CPD activities for the past three years to be eligible for certification renewal.
Certification Process
The certification process operates on an honesty system that can be audited. Validation of submitted information may be requested at any time.
Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued for the original certification fees.
When an appeal is requested, the fee will be refunded if the outcome is in your favour, but not if the original decision is upheld.
All refunds will be returned to the original credit card or account supplied. There are no exceptions offered in relation to this policy.
Member Fees
To be eligible for Member fees, the applicant must be a current ACA Member.
If the membership was proven lapsed and would like to be renewed, please reach out to aca@corrosion.com.au
General Provisions
The Certification Scheme terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of the ACA. The ACA reserves the right to verify the applicant’s eligibility and request additional documentation as necessary.
