Feedback on the B2 guidance by Raed El Sarraf

With the publication of SNZ TS 3404 in 2018, its inclusion as an Acceptable Solution in the NZ Building Code in 2019, and the recent publication of the Engineering NZ B2(Durability) guidance; progress in providing design engineers with the technical guidance to design durable steel structures continues.

This webinar will provide an overview of this journey to date, and what is to be expected in the near future. It will include an update of the review process SNZ TS 3404 is currently undergoing, from minor amendments to detailed examples of “Acceptable Solutions”, that are being considered. The main purpose of this webinar is to gather your feedback on SNZ TS 3404, omissions, corrections and issues encountered. We are also interested in your feedback as to which “Acceptable Solution” details you would like to see added; which we may be able to include in the SNZ TS 3404 review.
