On 22 February The Newcastle Branch held their first Technical Event.

Participants visited Pipe Lining & Coating Pty Ltd, who specialise in manufacturing and supply of pipework for the water industry.
The tour was conducted by Troy Flower, the General Manager of Pipe Lining.The productive site visit was followed up by dinner and a short AGM.
