The ACA Queensland Branch followed up last years’ popular Christmas function with a change in venue. The event was held at the Victoria Park Golf Course in the heart of Brisbane city.
Against the backdrop of the Brisbane city lights, the crowd of corrosionists from as far afield as Noosa and Townsville, enjoyed a catch up with friends and colleagues. The venue also tempted some to try their hand at the driving range with mixed results!
The exceptionally challenging putt putt course was the scene of fierce competition as some folk’s inner ‘Shark’ came to play. Points may or may not have been added up. Despite the some what competitive participation, all agreed that the evening was a winner.
Thanks to John and Beryl Triebe and the Queensland committee for organising the evening. – Wayne Thomson
