The SA Branch of ACA organized a visit to Australia’s only remaining Solar Panel manufacturing plant at Mawson Lakes north of Adelaide.
It was very well attended with a group of roughly 20 taking the time to attend. We enjoyed an engaging talk by their CEO Shayne Jaenisch and GM Robert Sporne on the evolution of their products to the latest more efficient monocrystalline panels. We were shown around the extremely impressive, clean and highly automated plant. I think we all learnt a great deal about this valuable technology.
The group followed up with conversation and pizza at a local café. It was a good evening all around.
