What is ACRA (Australian Concrete Repair Association)?
ACRA, Australasian Concrete Repair & Remedial Building Association was formed in 1991 with the aim of providing a forum to promote discussion and an exchange of views in the concrete repair and remedial building industry to advance the technology and practice in the remedial industry and associated activities.
The Association’s members are at the forefront of concrete repair and remedial technology worldwide and include companies and individuals with an interest in repairing and protecting concrete, including:
Specialist consultants and engineers, Specialist concrete repair, remedial building and waterproofing contractors, Specialist materials suppliers and Asset owners.
The ACA and ACRA partner to deliver the Corrosion & Protection of Concrete Structures & Buildings course.
How do I join an online ACRA training course?
When your registration is confirmed by the training team you’ll receive an email with the meeting link. To join the training course online you will need to have decent internet access in a quite comfortable place for the duration of the course. Follow the link “Join the Live Stream” provided in the confirmation email when ready to start. We recommend being punctual, if not 15 minutes early to ensure the class doesn’t proceed without you.
Who is entitled to member registration on ACRA training courses?
If you are an ACA member you may register for any training course at the member rate. If you are an ACRA member, you may register for any an ACRA training course at the member rate. If you are not a member, you may either register at the non-member rate or sign up to become a member – you can sign up to become an ACA member here.
Do I get catering delivered for the online ACRA course?
All online courses are delivered via Zoom and are not catered. Please organise your own food and drinks for the duration of the course.
What are the requirements for achieving my ACRA certification?
Successful completion of this ACRA course and exam.
Your results will be forwarded to the ACA office after the specification is marked. You should then receive an email from the ACA training team advising you of the result. If satisfactory results were achieved this email will include a digital copy of your certificate.
Pls make sure you have registered with your personal email to ensure this goes to you directly.
What happens if I do not pass my ACRA assessment?
If you are unsuccessful in your CSS assessment, you will need to re-submit. If a satisfactory result is not achieved the whole course will need to be repeated. You will be entitled to a 20% discount if the second course is completed within a year of the first course. otherwise, full fees apply.
