As we restructure and invigorate our organisation, we are excited to announce that the ACA is planning to host two events in Tasmania in 2023, leading up to the re-establishment of the Branch in Hobart.
The first event, planned to be held between June and July, will be an introduction to the costs of corrosion and an opportunity for members to engage with asset managers. The second event is happening in October, and it is a technical meeting led by experts in the mitigation and remediation of corrosion in water-related assets and old concrete structures. Dates, location and guest speakers are to be confirmed.
Sponsorship Expressions of Interest for these events are now open with multiple benefits included. We welcome 2x Sponsors for each event. The cost is $1500AUD each and/or the opportunity to sponsor an expert speaker of your choice. Each Sponsor will enjoy 2x complimentary tickets to your sponsored event, acknowledgement during presentations, acknowledgement of the partnership delivered with weekly emails as part of the event advertising linked to a choice of a landing page, and a 5-minute presentation on the company’s services.
The ACA is also looking for interested volunteers to re-establish a Tasmanian Branch. “Thank you to Dean Wall who retired as Tasmanian Branch President in 2022. Dean spent many years at the ACA as an active volunteer in many roles, including the ACA Chair for several years. Now we are planning for a new phase of events and activities in Tasmania.”, says ACA CEO, Maree Tetlow.
