Our Association owes a great deal of its success to the great work done by over 100 volunteers at any given time. Joining one of our committees is a fantastic way to make deep ties and enact positive change across our Association. We're currently seeking to expand the membership on a range of committees including ACA Board Subcommittees, The ACA Foundation and the Young Corrosion Group Steering Committee. The Australian Pipelines and Gas Association and the The Australasian Corrosion Association have joined together to host a technical seminar to discuss the challenges and solutions for preventing corrosion in pipelines, some of our most vital infrastructure. This hybrid event will feature 8 guest presentations, headlined by Keynote Speaker Kevin Garrity, of Mears Integrity Solutions (USA), focusing on technologies such as materials selection, coatings and cathodic protection used to attain the desired design life of our assets will be discussed. Speakers will share their experience and those of others they have learned from, and include case studies in their presentations.
