Over the coming weeks and months, you will see the ACA implementing remote communication tools to all of our member offerings, particularly into our training and certification program. Already a number of our ACA Training and Certifications courses are available to be studied remotely and more courses will be added to the program as we progress. We particularly encourage anyone impacted with reduced hours from their workplaces to use their downtime to upskill, to get that certification, or simply participate in further learning so you are ready to take advantage of the opportunities that will undoubtedly be there when we come out the other side. The ACA offers various payment methods to suit budgets including partial course payments, payment plans, credit card etc along with course discounts for multi bookings.

As of today, we wanted to update you on what is happening at the ACA from our first online meeting to Zoom support sessions for ACA members to new content that we're sharing.

Hello ACA members and colleagues, We hope you're all holding up in these difficult circumstances. Like you, we are all following developments and announcements regarding COVID-19. As you know, we have postponed a number of events and training course - this was prudent in light of government directives and the need to socially distance ourselves. We are still planning to host future training courses as advertised on our website, but we are realistic as to whether we will be allowed to do so. We are working on putting the training courses online in as timely a manner as possible.

The team at the ACA have been working on our online groups for members for some time. Now with the rise of COVID-19 and the increasing number of people working from home, these services are more useful than ever and have been expanded with some new features including dedicated video conferencing for each committee. Hello ACA members and colleagues, On behalf of the Board and ACA staff, we wanted to let you know what we're doing at the ACA in light of COVID-19. The office is open and we are providing training and member services as long as it is deemed safe to do so. We are following all state and federal government instructions as I'm sure you all are. We are planning for staff to work from home. Our plans will undoubtedly change in the future but this is what we've done to date and what we're proposing in the future:

The ACA Board met this morning to consider a range of matters in relation to COVID-19 and its implications for ACA members, staff and the organisation. This morning, after close consultation with branch and technical committees, invited speakers and the ACA team, The Board resolved to postpone several upcoming ACA events to a later date. The full list of postponed events is as follows:

COVID-19 is an ongoing issue and the situation is rapidly evolving in Australia. The ACA Board and management is following the situation closely and responding quickly to government and health department guidelines. At this point, we are operating our courses and our events as normal. We are updating registered attendees if any change is made to a scheduled event or course.
