Newcastle Branch Boat Cruise

The Newcastle Branch held a harbour cruise around the working Port of Newcastle for their Christmas function, capping off another year of great events provided for our local members.

A total of 35 members and guests were treated to the sights of the various port facilities and infrastructure, as well as the unique experience of large ships moving in and out of port. We had a diverse range of guests, with members present from the Newcastle Port Authority, academics, consultants, engineers, and coating manufacturers and suppliers.

Everyone enjoyed to chance to network and catch up with friends, and we look forwards to our next event which will be the AGM in February 2019.
