The Tasmanian Branch got together in Hobart at the Picturesque Grand Chancellor 15 floor foyer meet and greet .
Tasmanian Branch President Mark Jones convened the meeting with members present and phoning in from around the state via IPhone technology.

The Tasmanian membership is one of small in number but very proactive and President Mark Jones thanked all those for their ongoing support of Tasmanian events .

Special thanks goes to our out going Secretary Treasurer Aaron Harland from Valmont Coatings for his and company contributions to the Branch .

We wish Aaron and family every success in the new adventures back to where it all started in Newcastle.

Aaron has been promoted by Valmont to run the Newcastle  operations and we wish him all the best . The Tasmanian corrosion industry will miss Aaron’s enthusiasm and support of keeping work in Tassie. Tasmania’s loss but Newcastle’s gain!

The branch elected a new committee with Mark Jones (MRJ Industrial) re standing   as President/ Secretary and Karlo Poslon ( Cleanaway)as VP , welcoming back Rob Billing (Gordell Consulting )as Branch  Treasurer and Chris Davis (Incat) as new committee member along with Peter Johnson, Basyl Jakimyo , Greg Marshall ( Dulux )and Dean Wall( Jotun). We look forward to seeing you all at next weeks first event .of the year at the Derwent sailing squadron
