Event Summary
The Victorian Branch & Victorian Young Corrosion Group (YCG) of the Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) invites all our members and those interested to attend their first event of the year.
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and we encourage representation of all different sectors of corrosion on our Branch Committees. We also encourage young people or people that haven’t been involved with the ACA to help us make the changes and be part of the rejuvenated ACA.
We are also looking for members interested in joining the Committee and that are keen to actively contribute to events as Speakers, Organisers and or Sponsors. During the AGM, we will elect committee members and discuss general business for the upcoming year. Or, we encourage you just to come along to see what it’s all about. We hope to see you there!
Nomination and proxy voting forms are attached. Please submit nominations forms at least 48 hours prior to the event to be considered. Roles that can be applied for include:
· President
· Senior Vice President
· Junior Vice President
· Treasurer
· Secretary
· Committee Member.
This event is also an opportunity for the YCG and VIC Branch to meet and connect with our VIC membership. It is a joint social event, between the Young Corrosion Group (YCG) and the Victorian Branch of the ACA, kicks the year off with a spritely competition of barefoot bowls!
After the old(er) team pulled off a convincing win (2/3 games) over the YCG in 2024, all eyes will be on who can pull off the win in 2025.
So come along and take advantage of the last few weeks of daylight savings with your fellow corrosionists and friends, young and old…er!

Registration
- Includes 2 hours of Lawn Bowls
- Registration includes shared pizzas. Refreshments must be purchased at the onsite bar.
