Members for the ACA Victorian branch met on the 6th of February for the first branch event of a planned 12 events for the year: Lawn Bowls!
With a month’s worth of rain forecast to fall sometime between 6pm and 9pm, corrosionists braved the impending weather. We enjoyed a BBQ dinner and a delightful game of bowls before the sky opened up. Then the rain pelted down, lightning cracked and thunder rumbled.
At this point members sought refuge in the bowls club and enjoyed a relaxed beverage and chin wag with each other while watching the wild weather outside.
