The Australasian Corrosion Association Victoria Branch is a highly engaged and active community within the corrosion industry, operating alongside the Association’s head office in the state. Led by President Muhammad Awais Javed and Vice President Nate Berends, the branch is supported by approximately 13 dedicated committee members who work to deliver meaningful industry engagement and technical knowledge sharing.
The 2026 branch calendar features a diverse range of events covering key industry themes including oil and gas, cathodic protection, coatings manufacturing, concrete protection, and young industry professional engagement. With strong community and industry collaboration, the branch continues to foster partnerships and connections aimed at advancing corrosion prevention awareness across Victoria.
The branch is proud to be supporting five branch partnerships in 2026, while maintaining its commitment to connecting people, knowledge, and industry to support corrosion management and prevention.
