The ACA is launching a course that introduces the theoretical and practical aspects of preventing, managing and inspecting corrosion under insulation (CUI).

The first CUI course takes place in Perth (WA).

CUI is a severe form of localised, external corrosion that most commonly occurs on insulated carbon and low alloy steel and stainless steel equipment that operate at high temperatures at or below 175°F. Industries such as chemical/petrochemical, refining, offshore, and marine/maritime are the most affected.

The AMPP CUI course delivered by the ACA is designed for professionals who work in the affected industries, including specifiers and designers, coating inspectors and contractors, manufacturers, maintenance staff and project engineers. The training is happening from 6 to 9 June in Perth (WA), and early bird tickets are available at discounted fees for members here.
