Corrosion continues to impose a massive cost on asset owners and industry. In a report issued by NACE International (USA) the cost of corrosion has been estimated to be more than three per cent, or many billions of dollars of global GDP each year.

Our Mission as the Australasian Corrosion Association is for corrosion to be managed sustainably and cost effectively to ensure the health and safety of the community and protection of the
environment.
